
The company began with maintenance of tanks and towers in a 4-state area. That included cleaning, repairing and painting of tanks and towers. However, the company's most important decision was purchasing Master Tank in 1982, giving Maguire Iron the in-house capabilities to fabricate water towers from initial design to final erection.
Maguire Iron is able to handle projects of all sizes, from concept to completion. With the recent acquisition of Watertower Paint & Repair, the company has even more resources from which to serve its customers in a 26-state area. Little did Gene Jones Sr. know when he first went to work in 1943 where it would lead. Knowing that it's in the good hands of his sons, Jones predicted healthy growth in the company's future. "To have my family in the business, running it the way they have, is very rewarding."
