In 2004, Maguire Iron purchased the company that Gene Jones Sr. broke into the business with in 1943. Watertower Paint & Repair, based in Clear Lake, Iowa, has been serving communities in a 16-state area since the early 40's.

Today, Watertower Paint and Repair handles all tank maintenance needs for water storage structures requiring annual service and inspection with periodic paint jobs and desired water tank servicing. Those range from repair, sandblasting, welding and design as well as artistic painting.
